Tips

~Make your own self-rising flour! Just add 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt to each cup of flour (most recipes I've seen call for 1/2 tsp of salt, but be careful! It can get too salty really fast)

~Greek yogurt will almost always make your baked goods rise higher, and fluffier than regular yogurt. Any recipe that calls for Greek yogurt can usually be substituted with sour cream (and vice versa) And any European recipe that calls for yogurt, use Greek. Their yogurt is much thicker than ours!

~Line your baking sheets with parchment paper, instead of greasing them. Your sheet stays clean, no need to wash, and you can use the paper over and over! Also useful for lining loaf and cake pans (but don't forget to grease those too!)
